*TREASURES OF INESTIMABLE VALUE (3).*

*Scripture Treasure.*

2 Cor 4:7 *But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Though our years are limited and numbered, God still invests unlimited inestimable treasures in us.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

The earthen vessel is the vessel made of earth. All human beings are like dust, and to dust, we shall return Gen 3:19.

Gen 2:7 says *....God formed man of the dust of the ground,...."*

Gen 2:7b says God *"......breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.*

The treasure in the earthen vessel is the light of God in the earthen vessel made out of mere dust and mortal of clay.

With God, life has a meaning. Without God, life has no meaning. Life is vanity, Eccl 1: 2-11.

That God would invest such treasure in earthen vessel is another illustration of God's immeasurable, incalculable, innumerable, unlimited, and unlimitable inestimable treasures.

God has too much to go round and never inadequate. The more God gives us, the more is available. His stocks and inventories never diminish.

That God would invest in an earthen vessel that would be destroyed by worms is divine grace.

Job 19:26 tells us that our bodies will be destroyed by worms.

*And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:*

Isaiah 41:14 referred to Jacob and the men of Israel as 'worm'; meaning a symbol of insignificance, though God was with them.

*Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.*

God is not a waster of Kingdom resources. His treasures are available for our taking. Please God, and let your requests, please Him

People do not invest in risky ventures, but God invests in you as unstable as you are.

God remains faithful, but are you faithful to receive His inestimable treasures?

Sin remains the only thing that can make inestimable treasures abortive and useless

*Call to Word action.*

It was God's intention to give Solomon longlife, but sin cut him short, 1 Kgs 3:14, 1 Kgs 11.

1 Kgs 14:25-26 *And it came to pass in the fifth year of king Rehoboam, that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem:*

*And he took away the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

When you love and please God, you will become a candidate of His inestimable treasures.

*Prayer.*

Lord, let not sin stand in the way of my inestimable treasures, in Jesus name.
