*Scripture Treasure.*

1 Cor 15:20 *But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

If you believe in Jesus, you will believe in firstfruit.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Unlike tithes that you pay each time you earn, firstfruits may not be paid often as tithes are.

The following explains what your firstfruit is.

First, firstfruit is paid on what your increase is. In other words, the difference between your last pay and your new pay rise is your first fruit. That is, the difference between the two is your increase. This is your firstfruit.

Second, Exodus 34:19-20 says *All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling.....*

In other words, every first income that opens your pay matrix is God's (especially in a new year or new paid job).

lt may appear uncommon for people to do or accept this, but if you believe in Jesus, you will believe the word of God on firstfruit.

Jesus was referred to by Paul as the firstfruit. He was the firstfuit, and in Him is the firstfruit.

When it comes to tithes, God commands you pay. It is a command.

When it comes to offering, He says you give according to what a man has 2 Cor 9:7, 2 Cor 8:12, Luke 6:39. In reference to firstfruit, He says it is an honor to Him if you give Him. ln other words when you give your firstfuit, you give honor to Him.

Prov 3:9-10 says *Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.*

John 1:6 says *And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.*

John explains here that of Christ's fulness, have we received and nothing that was of Jesus was withheld from us.

Jesus became our fruitfruit and our *all increase*. He is the fulness of God. Peter says in 2 Pet 1:3

*According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:*

In Christ, the firstfruit is fulfilled because by His resurrection, the honor of God as a holy God who judges sin was upheld, Is 53:10.

Jesus, as firstfruit, honored God by proving that in Christ, the dead shall rise. He became the firstfruit to prove God right about the resurrection of the dead, 1 Thess 4:13-18

1 Corinthians 15:23 *But each in his own turn: Christ the firstfruits; then at His coming, those who belong to Him.*

Jesus was an honor to God. He brought salvation to prove what God wanted for us after the fall.

*Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:*, Rom 5:12.

Paul further said in Romans 5:17

*For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive an abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!*

Paul further says Christ is our first fruit, and so we that are Christ's will be His firstfruit at His coming

In 1 Corinthians 15:23, he says *But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming."*

Firstfruits of Christ will not deny the Kingdom principles of firstfruit as a giving. It is an honor to God and honorable to do so as His firstfruit.

If Christ your firstfruit did not hold back anything by giving you all His fulness, then you ought to honor Him *.....with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:...*

*Remorse corner.*

Before God asked you to honor Him with all your firstfruit, He first of all honored you with Christ

*The Christian clarion duty.*

If you believe in Christ, you will believe in giving firstfuit.

Lord, help me to honor You with my firstfruit in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
