*Scripture Treasure.*

1 Corinthians 15:36 *.......What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

When you eat the seed meant for sowing, you should not expect a harvest from God.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

The Apostle Paul remarks that what we sow does not germinate, spring up, and grow enough for harvesting unless it is planted in the soil.

In other words, Paul was saying that there is no harvest without sowing or planting, and if we think we will harvest without first having planted, we are fools.

He says in 1 Cor 15: 36 *Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:*

There is no farmer with greener fingers than God. No, not one is more productive than God.

Paul word in 2 Cor 9:10 that God who *....ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness*, further teaches as follows.

First, you have the power to feed the house of God through the seed He has given you to sow, and you have the power to provide food on the table for your family.

Second, God has given us the ability to give to the needy through the jobs He provides for us.

Third, it further teaches us that God increases the ability of believers who give generously to give even more.

Fourth, it teaches us that God reserves the right to support the person who gives to his/her local church.

God will increase his/her store of seed and will enlarge their harvest.

Fifth, Paul further says there are people who support God's work, and there are people who rely on such support, and their expectations are justifiable.

In 1 Cor 9: 12, he charges, saying, *'If others have this right to your support, shouldn’t we have it all the more? But we did not exercise this right.*

Furthermore, Paul was saying it is your Kingdom right to exercise the right to give and support . You will be abusing this right if you do not fulfill your financial responsibilities of tithes, offering, general giving, and firstfruits.

Remember, the harvest you reap will be determined by the sacrifice you make.

Are you expecting a harvest? Remember to sow.

*Remorse corner.*

When God gives you seed as a sower and bread for your food, He is telling you He has a right to demand financial support from what He has given you.

*Call to Word action.*

God has invested in you, but are you investing in Him?

1 Corinthians 9:11 *If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

God should reap carnal things (that is, material things, earthly financial blessings as harvest) like your tithes, offerings, firstfruit, and givings in return for the spiritual things He has sown into your life.

Lord, help me sow carnal things for the spiritual things God has sown into me, in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day.

God bless you.
