Luke 18:1 *And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;*

Luke 11:1 *And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.*
*Scripture Commentaries.*
The importance of prayer can not be overemphasized.
Jesus prayed, He taught us to pray, Luke 11:1, and He admonished us to pray, Luke 18:1.
If only you know you are unstoppable when you pray as a Christian, you would appreciate the importance of prayer.
There are many assertions of warfare that encourage us to pray.
First, in warfare, it is a common saying that
he who kneels before God will stand before men.
Second, another common saying is that if you neglect to pray, you will be a prey for Satan.
Third, so also is the saying that if there is a people to pray, there is a God who answers.
You are not equipped as a Christian if you neglect to pray.
It is your spiritual food without which you can never survive the daily war against Satan.
It is a part of your warfare best explained as you equip yourself in a battle ready uniform in full combat gear.
Eph 6:17 *And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:*
Remember, being a friend of Jesus is a qualification to answer prayers.
lf you do not have Christ, you will fall into crisis.
Be on the defensive and put on the defensive!

Never neglect prayer. Every day is war against the devil. Prepare yourself.
Eph 6:10-12
*Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.*
*Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.*
*Call to Word action.*
Eph 6:12-13 *For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.*
*Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Do not allow Satan to catch you unawares!
Eph 6:14-16 *Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;*
*And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;*
*Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.*
*Prayer.*
Lord, help me to be prayerful. Let me not be discouraged to pray. Holy Spirit, please help me in Jesus name.
