THE UNSTOPPABLE CHRISTIAN (2)

*WISDOM FOR TODAY*

*THE UNSTOPPABLE CHRISTIAN (2)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

1 Thess 5:17 *Pray without ceasing.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Christ knew the essence of prayer. He knew there were forces that could prevent us from praying. So He gave us the Holy Spirit.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

There are many factors that can limit or stop a Christian from praying.

As identifiable as these factors may be, there is that limitation that seems to override all, and this is the inability to know what to utter as prayer points or have any clue as to what to pray about in the place of prayer.

It can be very frustrating not to know what to ask in prayer.

However, God knew this, so He gave us the Holy Spirit, Rom 8:26. *Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which can not be uttered.*

If you are willing to receive the Spirit, you will be unstoppable as a Christian in the place of prayer.

For as long as you can pray in words and also in the Spirit, you will love to fast along with your prayers.

You can not love one without the other, and each with the other makes intercession most effective, Mark 9:29.

Every Christian must be worried if he/she is not praying unceasingly.

As a matter of truth, he/she should be worried if no meaningful time is alloted in a day to communicate with God.

Think of the time you spent on leisure, chatting away, and think, comparably, for a while if such time is spent with the Lord in prayer.

Becareful, the moment the devil takes away your appetite for prayer, he is gradually overcoming you.

Will you pray now?

*Remorse Corner.*

You can not afford to be lukewarm in prayer. It is either you love God and love to pray to Him or you do not.

*Call to Word action.*

Rev 3:15 *I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

The Kingdom of God is not for people who seldomly pray. It is for people who thirst and hunger after Him.

*Prayer*

Lord, let me not be weary in the place of prayer. Destroy every spirit of lukewarmness in my life, in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day.

God bless you.
