THE POWER OF GOD'S WORD
*WISDOM FOR TODAY*
*THE POWER OF GOD'S WORD.*
John 1:1 *In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Ps 119:89 *For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.*
The power of God’s Word spoken expressly cannot be overemphasized.
By His word, He spoke the world into existence.
He first spoke man into creation, by His word *"Let us make man"....*" Gen 1:26.).
The writer of Hebrew says *"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.*, Heb 11:3.
To disregard God's word is to be unfit in the world that He created by His word.
To disregard God's word is to miss it in life.
This is why disobedience carries more curses than anyone could ever imagine, Deut 28:15-68. It is the root upon which sin is built, 1 Sam 15:23. Your choice to obey or not will determine who you are before Christ. You obey, you are His child, you disobey, you are not His, John 8:31.
Jer 7:23 *But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.*
1 Tim 4:4-5 say we accept everything God has created as good when what we say in prayer is sanctified by the word of God.
It is by His word that a soul comes into existence, Isaiah 7:14.
It is by His word that a man's life ceases, Luke 12:20. The survival, sustenance and what a man is in life is by His word, 1 Sam 2:7.
Obey God's word and live.
It is by His word that the world came into being. So it will be by His word that the world will cease to exist, Luke 21:33
*Call to Word action.*
Matthew 24:35 *Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
The word of God is God Himself, John 1:1, Ps 138:2. The Word is so powerful that no creation shall escape from it. God watches to see that His word is fulfilled., Jer 1:12. It is not dormant, it is active, Heb 4:12.
Lord, let me walk with You in obedience, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and be blessed as you come into His presence, today.
God bless you.
