*THE PALM LEAVES OR THE PALM OF HIS HANDS? (2)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Matt 21:7-8

*And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.*

*And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees and strawed them in the way.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

The palm leaves were spread once, but the pain on His palm was inflicted and remained indelible throughout all age.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Yesterday was Palm Sunday. This was marked by Christians worldwide.

Not all who mark Christ's entrance to Jerusalem are children of God, as John stated in John 3:16 and John 1:12.

Significant enough are two questions, namely:

First is that do we remember Him by the palm leaves, flowering branches, or the blood on the palm of His hands?

Second, do we remember the palm leaves over how He has engraved us on the palm of His hands?

We answered the first question yesterday.

Today, we hope to answer the second one.

In the answer to the first, we saw how Jesus appeared a second time to His disciples, but this time telling Thomas to thrust his finger into His palm.

answering the second question, we are able to learn to see that in the same palm, God engraved us.

Isaiah 49:16 *Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.*

He did this as proof of His unwavering remembrance of us saying in Isaiah 49:15 *Can a woman forget her sucking child that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.*

Celebrating today with spread palm leaves come once a year as we prepare for Easter, but we are forever remembered by Him because He engraved us on the palm of His hands.

As you celebrate Palm Sunday every year with your palm leaves, remember to remember His palms inflicted for your salvation.

*Remorse corner.*

As you celebrate with the palm leaves, do not allow this to replace the spiritual palms of His hands.

*Call to Word action.*

Heb 13:5 *"...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Though you remember Palm Sunday every year, God remembers you on His palms every day.

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me to remember that You will never leave me nor forsake me.

Help me to remember Your palm always, in Jesus name.

Good morning, all, and be blessed as you go today.

God bless you.
