THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY (2)

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY (2).*

*Scripture Treasure.*

2 Tim 3:5 *Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Many people fall into the devil's hand because they do not understand the mystery of iniquity.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

The word mystery denotes something hidden for a time before God chooses to reveal it.

2 Tim 3:17 tells us that *"...the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.*

This is a time we have been warned that agents of evil can occupy sensitive, influential, authoritative positions in the church and can remain in these positions undetected for a long time.

This mystery may remain hidden for a long time if we do not pray to God to reveal it.

While this mystery is there, the very elected will not know.

Matt 24:24 *For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.*

The mystery of iniquity is already with us, 2 Thess 2:7, and we must earnestly pray to uncover the hidden agendas of evil agents.

The problem we are facing is that we do not discern agents of evil operating in the Church.

There is iniquity, but who are the mysterious faces behind them?

Paul tells us we need to know them in order to be able to turn away from them.

Paul says ,*"....turn away from them..."*, 2 Tim 3:5.

The deception that fuels their mystery is that *"......they have a form of godliness...."*,

2 Tim 3:5.

They have everything that makes everyone believe they are righteous, whereas they are a "clever" ruse. They are people of *"....corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.*, 2 Tim 3:8-9.

Their hidden or secret power is connected to Satan, the man of sin.

Deception remains the most potent weapon of Satan, and unless the believer is well furnished in the word of God, he can not unveil the secret power behind lawlessness.

What is happening in the present age is an indication of what will happen at the end time when the Wicked one behind this iniquity is revealed, 2 Thess 2:8.

Iniquity can come from anyone we least expected, Ps 41: 9.

This is a mystery behind every iniquity. So in as much as we know, iniquity is abound, Matt 24:12, we must also remember Paul's word that charges us to be aware of not only their devises but also mark them so that we can keep way from them, 2 Cor 2:11, Rom 16:17.

Walk in the Spirit!

*Remorse corner.*

Matt 24:23 *Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.*

*Call to Word action.*

Luke 21:8 *And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Those deceived by Satan or Satan's vessels of destructions know themselves.

Only the fire of God can make them uncomfortable in the Church.

Pray to unsettle them!

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me with the power to know right from wrong, in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
