*THE MANIPULATIONS OF SATAN.*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Prov 17: 8 *A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

A gift is a charm to its giver; wherever he turns, he succeeds.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Satan sits at the top of most negotiation tables in order to win as many people to his side.

In order to achieve this, he is a master-manipulator, using what is most loved by the children of men as a bait to deceive to make them believe that he and his agents are of God.

In the following few days, we will be looking at the manipulations of Satan.

The first we will look at today is Satan’s bait of generosity.

To be generous is the quality of being kind and compassionate. It is good to be generous. It fulfills God's word.

Prov 11:25 says *The liberal soul shall be made fat: And he that watereth shall be watered also himself.*

If you are generous to God's vision and wisely generous to people

Prov 11:24 says *There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth;*....meaning those who are generous will prosper.

However, we must be careful and sensitive because the devil uses this as a bait to disguise himself as the generous one.

Money is good, but Satan uses our love for it to deceive us, 1 Tim 6: 6-10.

Many have been ensnared to follow agents of the devil that have transformed themselves to agents of light because of the money they gave.

People sing praises of these people than true salvation preachers, and there is hardly any true saying about the deception of these agents that people would believe.

We must get to the point in life as believers to realise this game of deception that though we need gifts, but is it good for us at the time we are being offered to receive one?

Prov 17:8 tells us that there are times when a gift may become a bribe.

It tells us that when a gift is intended to be a bribe, it works like magic in the hands of the one who gives it because the giver knows it can do anything.

The one who gives it knows it is a bribe because he knows people love gifts therefore which everway he gives it, it will succeed at achieving its purpose.

In the secular world, a service provider to the society may not be allowed to receive a lavish gift. The gift must be at the least bearable amount. It will be meager and not enough to avert the course of justice or their righteous service.

Satan has understood what society and the children of men want. He understands that whoever gives can control the minds of people. He understands that survival is key. He knows what people consider as authentic of a true calling and the preacher of the heart of God, and so he and his agents carefully engineer giving into their curriculums accordingly!

These agents, through this giving, develop likable personalities that even the elect may be deceived how much more the people.

This is why it is common in the course of promoting ministries that many false prophets can hide under generosity to hide their manipulations.

This generosity has the dangerous effect of distracting than anything else.

It distracts from the expected biblical expectations to test all spirits.

When generosity is unusually excessive, it may call for reasons to call on God to open our eyes.

While giving remains an essential duty of the Church, we must remember that salvation remains the only way to Heaven. Whether we are given less or more or how much a Church gave or less amounts little. What amounts most is the souls to Christ.

Be not deceived.

Is your soul for Christ?

All spirits must be tested.

*Remorse corner.*

Satan uses money as a credible way to disguise and to make us believe that his agents are fulfilling Jesus's word to help the poor.

*Call to Word action.*

Becareful, what you have received through giving is not proof of godliness

1 Tim 6:5-6 *Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.*

*But godliness with contentment is great gain.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

It can be foolish for us to grab Satan’s bait of the pleasures and things of this world when we can put our faith in Jesus Christ and receive God’s perfect and eternal gifts.

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me not to be deceived, in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
