*Scripture Commentaries.*
The Lion of the tribe of Judah rises today!
His resurrection on the first day of the week (Sunday) marks our day of liberation and freedom to worship the risen Christ.
Matt 28:1 says, *"ln the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre* (KJV).
*Early on Sunday morning,....*, (NIV)
*'....at dawn on the first day of the week...*(NLT), Jesus rose up from the dead.
Paul commands in 1 Cor 16:1-2 that gathering and collection from saints are on the first day of the week.
*Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.*
*Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.*
Jesus' resurrection today, the first day of the week, takes preeminence over the seventh day of Sabbath (Saturday) as a holy day (of worship), Exd 20:8.
Today, (Sunday), is established that after children of men cease from their labor on the Saturday, the Sabbath, Exd 20:9, they prepare to go and worship God on Sunday, the Resurrection Day, 1 Cor 16:1-2.
Further essence of today that marks Easter and Resurrection Sunday tells us:
Christ has fought the battle. We have won.
He has borne all our griefs, and we are made happy. He has given us beauty for our ashes, Is 53:, 61:1-3, 1 John 2:2.
He has carried our sins and has made us live as if we had never sinned before, Rom 5:1.
He has paid the debt that He did not owe, 1 John 2:2.
The Lion roars. He rises today. Who will not fear God? Prophecies had gone ahead of His death and resurection, all were proved correct.
He said He would rise again, and He rose!
*Remorse corner.*
Matt 12:40 *For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.*

*Prayer.*
Lord, let me testify of the resurrected Christ. Let me praise Him for perfecting my life in salvation, in Jesus name.
Good morning and a *happy Easter and Resurrection Sunday* to you all.
Be blessed as you come into His presence today.
God bless you.
