*Scripture Treasure.*

Exodus 20:13 *Thou shalt not kill.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Job 34:30 *that godless men should not rule or lay snares for the people.*

*Scripture Commentaries.*

People who murder do not fear God.

There has never been a justification for murder before man and God.

We must know God and have a relationship with Him. This is the only secure way to liviing a God-fearing life with fellow mankind.

What led to the assassination/execution of innocent people in the bible is not as important as their assassination/execution itself.

Cain and Jezebel are prime examples of slayers in the Bible.

Other slayers are:

Abimelech, the son of a female slave, Gideon's concubine killed 70 of his brothers but Jotham, Gideon's (also known as Jerubbaal) youngest son, survived because he hid himself,(Judges 9).

Jehu led and commanded forty-two of Athaliah’s adult male relatives into a pit and slaughtered them at Betheked.

Jehu killed for power. Everyone who stood as a threat to him or who might be able to claim the thrones in the nation of Israel and Judah was killed

Athaliah was spared because she was a woman.

Since there were no surviving adult sons and grandsons, she became queen

Athaliah also rebelliously now took command of Judah. Ataliah killed all the royal offspring (her grandchildren). All except one, who was spirited away for safekeeping and seized the throne for herself, 2 Kings 10:12-27, 11:1-16.

Only Joash survived because he was hidden, 2 Kings 1:2-3.

These rulers in the scriptures were callous, but their stories were inspired for records.

The evil motives of these killers can never compensate for the lives of their victims.

People who respect other people's lives will respect God, who creates it.

Those who kill can not live above death. Sooner or later death will come visiting them.

If they do not submit themselves, death is inevitable.

God visited each of them in His vengeful anger.

Judges 9: 56 *Thus God rendered the wickedness of Abimelech, which he did unto his father, in slaying his seventy brethren:*

Ataliah was taken outside the house of the Lord and killed, 2 Kings 11:15-16.

Jezebel was eaten by dogs in the same Jezreel where Naboth was killed. She was eaten by dogs, 2 Kgs 9:32-37.

Those who killed on the killing field were not spared of it.

Those who kill should remember their end and what will become of them.

Nothing has changed from bible days.

We must pray for the fear of God to take over our lands. To refuse to pray is to expose ourselves to killing fields

Those who kill can not live above death. They know this, but it has not changed them.

This is the life we live in, except God delivers us.

We can make our society a better place.

Remember, the more people we win for God, the less is available to Satan.

Have you prayed to God today to deliver you and your family from killing fields?

*Remorse corner.*

The evil men do will live after them. There will be a day of judgment.

*Call to Word action.*

There can never be a justifiable reason to kill anybody. We must all remember that what usually leads to any killing or the motive behind any killing is not as important as the lives killed.

Exod 20:13 *Thou shalt not kill.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

There is nothing to gain in any form of killing someone, either by mouth or arms

Lord, help me love and respect everyone's life, irrespective of what they do against me.

Lord, save me from killing fields in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
