*Scripture Treasure.*

2 Kings 2:19-22---►🔹 *And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren.*🔹

.*🔹And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him..*🔹

🔹 *And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.*🔹

🔹 *So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake..*🔹

*Insight and Highlight.*

Any object in the hands of the anointed will become an object in the Hands of God.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Most times, God is asking us, as He asked Moses *"What is in your hands*", Exd 4:2. We, however, undermine the power in what we have because they appear seemingly powerless to us.

God's Hands, Moses', Elijah's, Elisha's hands etc are moments of turnarounds in the lives of recipients of miracles through notable vessels of God.

A gun in the hands of an untrained man will become a fatal instrument but one in the hands of a trained officer serves as a symbol of authority, to keep law and order, one to be used as a last alternative, if required.

Salt in the hands of an ordinary man faced in the same situation with Elisha would not achieve what Elisha achieved.

Regardless of how useless or ordinary an object may look, the hands that hold it can change the ordinary object into the extraordinary.

The rod in the hands of Moses ref Exd 4:2, 14:16, Paul's apron and handkerchief, Acts 19:12 and Peter's shadow, Acts 5:15 were unexpected mediums God used to deliver.

The accounts of the above cited vessels of God tell us that most, if not all answers, to deliverance are in or within our reach.

We sometimes overlook the truth that God can make any object available for the use of His vessel of God as an instrument of Divine deliverance.

What is in your hands?

*Remorse corner.*

Do not undermine the leading of the Spirit. Often times the unthinkable is a perfect vessel of deliverance in the Hands of God.

*Call to Word action.*

When you are a vessel in the Hands of God, His Hand is upon you to do exploits.

1 Kgs 18:46 ---►🔹 *And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.*🔹

*The Christian clarion duty.*

The hands of a vessel of God, are by God's power, as good as the Hands of God in doing exploits. 2 Kings 13:16 ---►🔹 *And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands.*

Lord open my eyes to see the power of deliverance that is in my hands. When you show me, let me believe and let it work deliverance through me in the lives of others and also in my life, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
