TELL THEM " YOU DO NOT KNOW!" (3)

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*TELL THEM "YOU DO NOT KNOW!" (3)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Job 37:23 *Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

God is to be feared because of his great work. None of Him is searchable.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

In Job 37:23, Job says we can not find God, He is exalted. In Job 37:24, he says, *"Therefore men fear him....."*

It therefore goes that when the children of men search God, one can conclude that they do not fear God.

The Apostle Peter warns us against taking God for granted through our private or personal interpretations of Him and His words.

One of the major reasons why people search God out is because of their own perception that no one could be who he is without being created by someone.

They believe God was created.

God is not created, and neither is Jesus.

Ps 90:2 says,*"....from everlasting to everlasting you are God....*"

This is human wisdom. Isaiah 5:21 says

*Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!*

This is why God warns us against being wise in our own eyes and those who insist on doing so, He makes a nonsense of their wisdom, ref 1 Cor 1:27.

Children of men have taken God for granted and have by their own interpretations, and their will insulted the Living God. They have violated, among many scriptures that tell us of the supremacy of God, 2 Pet 1:20-21.

God has given us the abilities to make choices, but when our personal interpretations obstruct, pervert God's standard, they have become wrongful and sinful.

There are many aspects and attributes of God that make Him so supreme to all His creatures. We will just mention two:

First, many of us may wonder why even loving money, having money, or enough of it is not enough for the owner. More so, everything under the sun is vanity, ref Eccl 1:14, 5:10. The creature is always craving for more. This is because God has done everything in such a way that we can never live without needing Him.

Second, there is an element of commitment required of Him. This is called faith. God listens when we pray. He is willing to give us an answer, especially the ones meeting our request. He, however, may not tell us the day of its arrival. If He did, it would destroy the absolute requirement, called faith, that He requests from us.

Many of our frustrations, which come out of our lack of impatience and faith in God, are the presence of evil in the world today. We ask what God is doing about them and where God was when these evils were happening.

Such evils are in the form of murders, shootings, etc, but we fail to ask ourselves why we kept God out in the first place.

We chased Him out of our lives, institutions, raising our children the Godly way, etc.

We fail to further realize that we have left God where we abandoned Him. No one is remorseful to call Him back to revive us again.

So there are so many things we do not know.

No matter what frustrations people may have, God remains God. Their searches do not change who God is. He is supreme.

Therefore we should limit ourselves to what He has purposed we ought to know.

If anyone asks you where God came from.

Tell them you do not know.

Just tell them to believe!

*Remorse corner.*

Limit yourself to what God reveals to you through His word, inner witness, and / or through His direct voice. These are your limits.

*Call to Word action.*

Deut 29:29 *The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Just believe and continue to believe. There is God, the Only One God, 1 Tim 2:5.

Rom 10:10 *With the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.*

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me to believe in the Only One God , in Jesus name.

*For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;* 1 Tim 2:5.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.

God bless you
