TELL THEM "YOU DO NOT KNOW! "(1)

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*TELL THEM "YOU DO NOT KNOW!" (1)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Gen 1:1 *In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

If anyone asks you, "Where does God come from?" Tell them you do not know. Tell them, "Just believe."

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Gen 1:1 tells us God existed before all creations and before the beginning of creation. Col 1:17 says, *"And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.*

He has existed before the beginning of the beginning of creation.

As regards searching God out, Paul clearly says that God's wisdom, knowledge, and judgment are unsearchable, and His ways are past finding out Rom 11:33.

Here, Paul is saying that everything about Him is beyond any human understanding.

We can never know what happened before the beginning or what happened at the beginning except what He has made us to know.

We can only know now, but the next minute, we do not know.

We can know what happened yesterday.

We may know what will happen tomorrow, but we can never know for sure if they will ever happen, nor can we know why things happen the way they happen.

We can only plan, but God perfects according to His will and power, Prov 16:18. This is the undisputable power and sovereignty of God.

Anyone can be mighty, but only God is the Almighty.

This tells us how limited we are. We can not do all things unless God strengthens us to do so, ref Philp 4:13.

David says trying to find God out is too high for Him. He cannot atain it, Ps 139:6.

You can inquire of God. You can ask God, intreat God, but you can not investigate God.

When you are asked where God comes from, tell them you do not know other than what God has revealed through His word and revelation.

Tell them Hebrews 10:7 *Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.*

.....and what is His will?.....just believe!

Believe in His Son, Jesus!

*Remorse corner.*

To boast about tomorrow that we do not know is to abuse the omniscient attribute of God, ref Jam 4:14-16.

*Call to Word action.*

Gen 11:4, 7-8 *And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.*

*Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.*

*So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

No one can search God out. No human being was or is created to achieve this. Such an attempt is fraught with impossibility.

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me to believe as You have written and spoken, in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day.

God bless you.
