*SHUN JEALOUS RIVALRY.*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Eccl 4:4-6 *Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit.*
*The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.*
*Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Prov 27:4 *Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?*
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Hard work, dilligent service, business success and the development of skills can often trigger jealous rivalry with one's neighbor.
In all you do resist envy, jealousy and the spirit of competition.
Be content with whatever you have, 1 Tim 6:6-12.
Who says you cannot be what God has destined you to be? Yes, you can!
Trust in God, self development of skills coupled with determination can help you.
Do not handle more than you can handle. Those motivated by jealous rivalry are self destructive: Eccl 4:5 *The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.*
Are you in pursuit of jealous rivalry?
*Remorse corner.*
Are you in pursuit of jealous rivalry? You do not need to live your life this way.
God wants you to live a life of moderation.
*Call to Word action.*
Seek to work together and help each other rather than envy or be jealous.
Ecc 4:9 *Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Rather than jealous rivalry, seek the good of others, seek to ask them to show you their path of Godly success. Work together, do good, work and live in a quiet and Godly manner, Eccl 4: 10-11.
*Prayer.*
Lord, help me to have a daily companionship with You.
Let me work also in companionship, live in fellowship, helping each other, in support with fellow believers, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
