*Scripture Treasure.*

Eccl 9:10 *Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might....."*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Working together for the good of all.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

A former President of the United States, John .F. Kennedy (JFK) said "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

This he spoke at his inauguration in 1961 with the purpose of challenging every American to contribute in some way to the public good.

JFK's word took a cue from God's word in Eccl 9:10a.

God wants us to do things that will help and improve His Kingdom by our participation.

By participating with others, we learn more and improve ourselves.

We ought not sit doing nothing yet expecting God to do something for us.

As God showed by giving us His One and only begotten Son, so we ought to be on the giving side, not on the receiving side.

*Remorse corner*

Acts 20:35 *".....remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.*

*Call to Word action.*

1 Cor 3:6 *I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

1 Cor 9:12 *If others have this right of support from you, shouldn’t we have it all the more?...."*

Lord, help me to cooperate and serve in participation. Through service by participation, help me to *Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble*, in Jesus name.(Isaiah 35:3).

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
