*Scripture Commentaries.*

The Kingdom belongs to God. Do not ask for just a part that you need, ask for what God had prepared for you. The request that exalts the Lord as Head of all.

God as Sovereign, gives as He wills.

He needs no permission to give to whosoever He wishes because the Kingdom belongs to Him.

Ask to be saved from your troubles but go also at length to ask that you be safe.

As you seek to be delivered from the hell of life, which is temporal, so also seek to be delivered from etrenal hell, which is permanent.
