REJOICE FOREVER MORE.

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*REJOICE FOREVER MORE!*

Heb 11:36 *And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:*

*Insight and Highlight.*

1 Thess 5:16 *Rejoice evermore.*

*Scripture Commentaries.*

It is another time of the year, yet it is the same story of unanswered prayers, delays, disappointment, almost-but-not-there syndrome.

It is Christmas but the same joblessness, the same surname, the same ill-health, etc.

It is Christmas, but the same old crisis may be your story, but let God see your feelings and show of great joy and delight. Rejoice!

We measure time chronologically, but He measures time by His own set and divine time.

By God's timing, there must be His own fullness of time before His plans can happen.

Galatians 4:4-5 tells us that God did not complete our redemption until it was time for Him to do so.

In other words, what He knew was important for Him to do so that He may reconcile the world to Himself, He did not do so until it was time for Him to do so. Paul says in this passage

*But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.*

Furthermore, He knows our needs.

Continue steadfastly in prayer, 1 Thess 5:17.

Our present predicaments may also be traceable to us. In other words, most are self-induced. Make sure you do not want what you do not need, and make sure you need what you want.

Many of us have lost great opportunities with God. Prayer can help you. He can restore you. Tell God. He fixes all things. He can direct you to want what you need (ref Matt 6:33).

Let us also realize that as there are many self-induced predicaments, there are also some of us who are perfect with God yet are still waiting.

Be encouraged with Psalm 37:37

*Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.*

In all, let us always remember that we may think it is high time God did what we required from Him, but to Him, it is not the right time to do so.

There are so many things to thank Him for. Think deeply, and you will discover them.

As a writer of this admonition, l do not know what these good things may may be, but l can say two things.

First, whether good or bad might have had mixed tidings for you this year, be assured that God still made all things work together for you to see today, Rom 8:28.

Second, you can read this admonition. This indicates you are alive today, and you can see tomorrow and many more.

Paul says in Philippians 1:6 *Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:*

Be confident as Paul was.

See every day as a gift. This is why it is called present (another word for 'present': a gift).

Ignore cruel mockers! Heb 11:36. They are not your Maker. Your Maker is God. He knows what is best for you.

Do not be distracted.

Rejoice today and forevermore!

,*Remorse corner.*

Be better than yesterday. Do not be bitter about your yesterday, but rejoice for what the new horizon will bring you today.

*Call to Word action.*

No matter what yesterday or this year has so far brought to you, there is hope for you. You may have been cut down, but you will rise again.

Job 14:14 *If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.*

*Prayer.*

Personalize this prayer:

Psalm 138:8 *The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. O LORD, Your loving devotion endures forever do not abandon the works of Your hands.*

In Jesus name.

Good morning and a *MERRY CHRISTMAS* to you in Jesus name.

God bless you.
