*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
1 Cor 9:27 ► *But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
We often come to a point where we realized the destructive path we had walked. At that juncture, we must activate
towards a change.
The principal enemy of the children of men, is self. When you spend time on yourself and you tell yourself the truth, you will rebuild self.
Rebuilding your relationship with self helps you to effect changes in self. When you know who you really are, your relationship with others will fall into place.
We all have ego: a self assurance in oneself. When well managed, we overcome self and undue ego and will
achieve great things.
It will be hard to overcome ego by our strength. Ego destroys because it seeks its own.
This still forms a major interpretation of Paul's admonition in 1 Cor 9:27 *"But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection:....."*
You can rebuild the broken walls in your life. Take a step at a time dealing with your issues and you will see how much grounds you have covered.
Do you wish to rebuild yourself?
Revelation 2:5 ► *Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works;....."*
Check first where and why you "collapsed", then start from where your ego got out-of-place.
To have ego is good but to have it out of place is destructive.
*Call to Word action.*
Isaiah 14:14 *l will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.*
*Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
When ego becomes a self-centered attitude that says, “It’s really all about me,”
then it robs us of good people and the joy and peace that God intends for us.
Lord, take my hands in Your Hands. Take my arms in Your Arms, rebuild and remold me, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
