*Insight and Highlight.*
Hold tight in times of trouble.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Joseph's life was full of disappointment, and it teaches us many lessons in life.
If you think people will do for you as you do for them, you will end up disappointed.
You must always know that not everyone has the same heart as you do.
This happened to him when he was telling his brothers his two dreams. It also happened to him in prison when the cupbearer disappointed him
He lived a complicated life, but in its complication, he found allocation.
He became a set man to the world, allocating means for their survival, Gen 41: 56-57.
His adversity brought direction and purpose to himself and solutions to others.
In life, there is the presence of evil that brings into effect crisis. However, in Joseph's life, good was present as evil was playing its role.
Danger and opportunity existed side by side.
From the time he was in the pit to the prison.
God will not leave His own, even in the most seemly hopeless situation.
God's favor was with him, when life disfavored him, Gen 39:4-6.
He did not give up!
*Remorse corner.*
You need to embrace your struggle and see it as an opportunity for growth.
*Call to Word action.*
Life's greatest lessons are learned during the hardest times in life.
He was disappointed by the cup bearer, Gen 40:23. The same man set him up for an appointment with Pharaoh, Gen 41:9.
