2 Chr 32:21
*And the Lord sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
When we pray, we summon the hosts of Heaven: God's army to set themselves ready for war against our enemies.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Sennacherib, king of Assyria, besieged and entered into Judah, *".....and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself."*, Isaiah 32:1.
Hezekiah was king of Judah at the time.
If only we know what happens when we pray, we will prioritize prayer regardless of the difficulties facing us.
The problem, however, is that challenges
overwhelm us that we forget or do not see any need to pray. We seek for man-made solutions rather than God solutions.
Hezekiah prayed and he saw that God's army was so organized in battle against Sennacherib that the angel of the Lord *".....cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria."* 2 Chr 32:21.
Not one of the enemies was spared.
The same happened to Pharaoh's army in the Red Sea.
Exd 14:30 says *"......and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.
God took census of every enemy and took all of them down and out.
The world's most organized army of any nation has never totally destroyed their enemies. History tells us of repeated wars among nations from the same enemies they thought they had conquered.
God ensured that Hezekiah never saw the Sennacherib ever again.
2 Chr 32:21 tells us that his children killed him. *"......they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.*
None of God's enemies could ever claim to outnumber or outorganize God.
Do you wish not to see your enemies again?
Call on God. He will wipe them all out in one fell swoop!

God is too organized to spare your worst enemies. He will take a census of them and wipe them all away.
*Call to Word action.*
Exodus 14:13 *And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Herod and his Satanic agents troubled the Church. An angel struck him, and worms took over to totally destroy him forever.
Acts 12:23 *Immediately, because Herod did not give glory to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.*
*Prayer.*
Psalm 34:7 *The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and he delivers them."* Deliver me totally from my enemies in Jesus name.
