ONLY GOD KNOWS(3)

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*ONLY GOD KNOWS (3)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Job 23:10 ► *But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.*

*Insight and Highlight*

*Why does God test us, knowing some will fail?*

*Scripture Commentaries.*

One of many questions occupying the human mind is, if God is all knowing "why would God test me knowing l would fail"?

The answer to this question is, God does not expect you to fail when he tests you or when He allows temptations to come your way.

If you love God, you will do His will, test or no test.

He tested the lsraelites that He may know what was in their hearts,...whether or not they will obey His commands, Deut 8:2.

James says we fail because we have our own desires, James 1:14.

The way humans have presented themselves to God has left God no choice but to test our faithfulness.

Remember His decision to test was not as a result of the fall, it was part of God's plan along with creation, Gen 2:15-17

When James says *"....God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:* is best interpreted as God is never tempted to do wrong, (James 1:13)

So when you are faced with wrongdoing, you should not do it. God’s word clearly spells out what is good and what is evil.

Micah 6:8 *He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?*

God will not set us up to fail. It is not in His moral or unique attribute to see us fail.

He created us *".....not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.*, 2 Peter 3:9.

*Remorse corner.*

You can know that God does not want us to fail. Though He allows temptation, He makes a way of escape, 1 Cor 10:13.

*Call to Word action.*

God does not want you to fail in tests, trials and temptation.

God tested Abraham, he passed. He allowed Joseph's temptation, he passed.

You can overcome also.

*The Christian clarion duty.*

To be tempted is not sin, to fall in it is sin.

Flee youthful lust, 2 Tim 2:22

*Prayer.*

Guide me O gentle Saviour, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
