Philippians 3:14 *l press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
God is not a God of diminishing returns. He is a God of exponential increase and growth.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
The believer should not settle for anything less than new heights everyday.
Though, given the circumstances, God is still present in few things as we see in Jonathan's word of encouragement in 1 Sam 14:6..*"....LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.*
So also Jesus says *"...For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”* (Matt. 18:19–20.).
However, He increases the little to a thousand and the small to a great nation, Isaiah 60:22.
So never look down on yourself when it seemed fewness presents itself because God says through Zech 4:10 that *For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice,...."*
There is a law of diminishing returns which operates on the principle that benefits gained from something will result in smaller gain or output as more money or energy is invested in it.
In God’s Kingdom the principle of diminishing returns does not hold for those whom God helps. He does not want diminishing returns for us, Ps 67:6, 85:12.
Diminishing returns do occur when there is fruitless labor, Lev 26:20, Eccl 2:12
It is the exponential growth principle that is God’s plan for us. It holds with God just as it holds in the secular.
This principle holds the view that each increase on an initial investment will bring about a percentage change of growth.
So in exponential growth, rate of change keeps increasing. It is not constant neither does it decrease.
We see this in the patriarch Isaac when he sowed, Gen 26:12.
God is a God of exponential growth and increase. He is not a God of diminishing returns. The more you put in your efforts, time and resources, the more you get in return, Mark 10:30.
There may be ups and downs but always condition your mind to striving for new heights everyday.
Defy the odds, today.
You can achieve it!

*Prayer.*
Lord help me to attain new heights everyday, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and be blessed as you come into His presence today.
