*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN (2)*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Matthew 17:21 *Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
God is forever, not for-never.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
There are two questions among many that may be facing us when we go through challenges.
First, have you prayed over those mountains of difficulties before you concluded they will never be solved?
Second, did you ever ask what the word of God is concerning what you are going through?
To the first question, Jeremiah prayed God stating *"....and there is nothing too hard for thee:"*
God answered him *Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: *"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me?* Jer 32:27
Matthew 19:26 *But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.*
Genesis 18:14 *Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.*
The second question may compel us to always ask God what He wants us to know through what we go through.
Paul identified what God wanted him to know through his health challenges. This was so that he would not exalt himself *".....above measure.*, 2 Cor 12:7.
This tells us that though the challenges we go through are not pleasing to us, we must endeavor to pray while also seeking God’s heart concerning what we are going through. Not all challenges are punishments from God, Job 1 & 42,
Lam 3:33.
On the other hand, some challenges could be punishments from God. When these happen, we should see God's punishment as ways God is hoping to achieve better persons in us.
Through most punishments from God, He communicates His will to us. This is most true when we are going astray, while refusing to do His will, Ps 119:71 says *It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.*
When we pray, we are saying to God and trusting Him that we know He can do all things.
When we ask God to show us what we could learn from what we are going through, we are submitting to Him. We are assuring Him we wish to learn and get close to Him from what He has allowed us to go through.
We need these assurances to build us to believe that rather than say never to God, we will ever trust and believe Him.
*Remorse corner.*
Never lose hope in God.
*Call to Word action.*
Job 13:15 *Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Rather than never hope on God's promises, ever hope on them.
*Prayer.*
Lord, rather than say never, please help me to ever trust in You, in Jesus name.
Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
