Acts 16:1 *Paul came to Derbe and then to Lystra, where he found a disciple named Timothy, the son of a believing Jewish woman and a Greek father.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
You are a mother influencer if you impact good morals in your child's life.
You are a mother influencer if you use your position as a mother to improve other mothers and their homes.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Mother influencers are mothers who, through guidance, parent-child tips, ideals, and ideas, transform mothers' motherhood and children.
They are mostly mothers as well, just as one would expect, and are able to grab the attention of other mothers.
They influence single mother homes and also father absent homes.
Mothers of influence may not necessarily be career women. They may be stay-at-home mothers.
Their influences have powerful effects, and they make strong impressions on homes.
They influence other mothers by paying attention to other mothers' situation and how to improve them. They change their lives using their own same experiences or similar situation of theirs, sharing what and how they overcame in order to encourage others.
When mothers are powerfully influenced this way, they also influence their children.
Mother influencers often create legacies for upcoming generations.
Biblical examples of mother influencers in the lives of their children are found in Timothy's parenting.
In Paul's first encounter with Timothy, the Scriptures recognized Timothy, as *".....the son of a believing Jewish woman and a Greek father.*, Acts 16:1.
Mother influencer was not only found in Timothy's mother, Eunice, but also traceable to his grandmother Lois.
1 Tim 1:5 *When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.*
King Lemuel wrote what his mother taught him. A life changing moral lesson, if he was to be a king of noble character, Prov 31:1-2.
Lemuel admonished his son, Lemuel, affectionately using words that would remind Lemuel of the son of whom he was.
King Lemuel says in Prov 31:2, 1-9 *".....my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?*
Jacob blessed Joseph, not just by himself but also by motherhood.
By Jacob's words, motherhood is exemplified as a source of fruitfulness and sustenance.
Jacob blessed Joseph, saying
*".....the Almighty who will bless you With blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that lies beneath, Blessings of the breasts and of the womb.*, Gen 49 27..
You can be a mother influencer.
Change a fellow mother's life today.
A mother who is not disciplined can not positively influence other mothers how much more her children!
*Remorse corner.*
You will influence your child by what you teach him/her. What your child will become will depend on your influence on him/her, Prov 22:6. 31.
*Call to Word action.*
A child who obeys is a pride of his father. This is not to belittle the woman. The child is a pride of the father because of the family name). A child's foolishness is traceable to how he despised his mother's (instructions)
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Proverbs 15:20 *A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.*
*Prayer.*
Lord, make me a mother influencer who positively changes the lives of mothers, motherhood, children, and homes for Christ in Jesus name.
