Do not allow anyone to discourage you of marriage.

God says marriage is honorable, so it must be.

There is nowhere in the scriptures where marriage is discouraged.

Nothing must stand in your way to discourage you from marrying.

It is the love of God for you.

There are many reasons why people refuse to marry.

Many attimes many look for their own specs instead of being content with whom God brings to them. Another way of saying this is when there are no suitors to fulfill their expectations.

Some ladies may find it difficult getting suitors if they have built so much around themselves that could intimidate would-be suitors.

This self-made standard could be a limiting factor to a successful relationship.

Some have bad attitudes that could turn suitors away.

We must also recognize there are spiritual battles that could stand in a person's way. These forces may prevent some not to marry and they might not get anyone to marry.

There are forces that could prevent someone from marrying (ref Judg 11:39).

What happens today is more than meets the eye. We must earnestly pray.

No matter what the battles against you, God is able to deliver you. Be encouraged. Trust in Him....*In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.*, Prov 3:6.

We must avoid being too desperate to miss God's plan for our lives.

Patience will ensure that we marry the bone of our bones and the flesh of our flesh, Gen 2:23.

Lack of patience or when we are overtly desperate will only ensure we marry the bones suited for another, not ours.

Let patience *'....have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.*, Jam 1:4.

In the hope of fulfilling God's purpose in marriage, we must be very careful not to want what God does not need for us, and we must not need what He does not want for us.

Some may have bad experiences of marriage in other people's lives, but remember, they are not you, and you are not them.

The aforementioned are just some reasons.
