*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*LEARNING FROM TRIALS. (2)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Rom 8: 18  *For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Trials teach us a greater need for God, fostering a deeper, more dependent relationship.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

In this world, Christians will always have questions for God but not for themselves.

From the human point of view, God is always to blame.

In the event of any eventualities, God's existence and power of intervention are two out of many things we query about God.

We reject God and ask where He is when bad things are happening. When He does not intervene, we forget to know that God is where we left Him. We forget we told Him not to interfere or intervene in our situation because we had rejected Him.

As fools as those who reject God can be and as fools as they know that those who reject God ought not to expect His attention to their situation. The critical issue with them is the lack of understanding of who God is and who He represents.

Paul says the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the future glory God has for the Christian.

It is supernatural grace for anyone to see the future glory ahead rather than what he is going through.

While the child of God is aware of his troubling situation, he is futuristic about his eternal home and reward.

Though he is heavenly minded, he is earthy troubled but not destroyed or useless.

Earthly trouble is a certainty. It is inevitable and attimes it can not be prayed off.

Paul tells us that we may (or certainly) not be able to pray off persecution.

While Christ remains our protector and harsh conditions Christians face can never resist His power but peaceful death and harsh eventualities may not be avoided by the Christian.

Christ tells us we shall be hated, Matt 10:22. Hatred breeds harsh and terrible outcomes.

How can we escape these tribulations and harsh realities? There may be no way out.

We are called to undergo this, 2 Tim 3:12.

So Paul tells us we can live with the pains in our bodies yet carry on God's work, Gal 6:17.

James tell us to count it all joy. Jude tells us to contend with the faith that was once delivered to us.

They all wrote out of experiences and were inspired by the Spirit concerning what would become of them.

Each of them learnt from what they suffered.

What would you testify of Jesus to people?

Certainly, it will not be a life free of trouble nor a life without trouble.

Certainly, however, it will be a testimony of a life where Christ goes with you in your trouble. He never leaves or forsake you. The promise may not be that you will not have problems, John 16:33, but know that His power will be made manifest in the problem you are going through, 2 Cor 12.

Can you learn somethings from what you are going through?

If you have not, ask God. He will give you a revelation.

*Remorse corner.*

We do have questions during trials and challenges but God has answers.

*Call to Word action.*

Hardship, trials challenges etc are temporary and will be insignificant to the future glory that shall be revealed for those who are in Christ.

*The Christian clarion duty.*

In everything we go through, God teaches us something.

*Prayer.*

Lord open my eyes to see the lesson You teach me as l go through life. Do not leave me nor forsake me in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and be blessed as you go today.

God bless you.

Shalom.
