*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*LABOURING MORE ABUNDANTLY.*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Luke 12:48 says ,*"......For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

More work more grace. More grace, more work.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Jesus tells us in our Bible reading of today of the importance of increasing our potential as laborers in God's vineyard.

When God invests in us, He expects returns. Jesus says *"....much will be required from everyone to whom much has been given.*

The more God invests in us, the more is required from us.

The problem with us is that some of us fail to know how much God has invested in us.

There are people whom God has invested in but have only used the investment to their own advantages but not God's and His people.

Jesus further says *".....even more will be demanded from the one to whom much has been entrusted.*

The more God invests in you, the more He demands.

A strong desire to serve God is a major step to increasing our potential, and the more we increase our potential is a step to increasing our desire and motivation to serve God more.

When we are more motivated to increase our potential, the more God is willing to invest more in us.

Jesus is telling us that every desire to serve God is backed by the grace to do it.

To fail to do more when the grace to do it is there is as bad as frustrating the grace of God.

The more unwilling we are to serve God, the less or none God will be willing to commit anything into our hands.

Are you willing to labour abundantly as a labourer in His vineyard?

*Remorse corner.*

When we desire to work hard for God, we can be assured of the grace to do it.

*Call to Word action.*

1 Corinthians 3:6 *I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

1 Corinthians 6:1 *We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.*

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me not to fail God's grace when what is committed into my hands is demanded of me, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

*A HAPPY 4TH OF JULY U.S INDEPENDENCE DAY!*

God bless you.
