John 10:10b *...l am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.*

Life abundantly is life larger than life itself.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Life can be hard, and it does not give us what we deserve.
By Jesus' word in John 10:10b, having life is just like marking time or just being a part of it.
So, Jesus is willing to give more to it so that it can have a meaning.
Everyone alive is living, but not all are living meaningful lives. To many, life is just not worth living
Jesus is the answer to life and life abundantly.
Jesus is saying in John 10:10b that as much as He gives life, He can also give it more abundantly.
In other words, He can give us life *... exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think....*, Ep 3:20
He is telling us here that there is a difference between having life having it abundantly and more abundantly.
This further tells us that having life is not just enough, but having it more abundantly is also important and makes it complete
It is the abundant life Jesus gives that makes life pleasant to live.
Jesus speaks about this world we live in and also implied that life is hard and full of tribulation saying in John 16:33 *These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.*
Abundant life is the fullness of God and His Spirit.
When our lives are full of the presence of Christ, we are assured of abundant life.
We can have peace with riches and every good thing in this world only through His abundant life.
To have everything in this world without Christ is just living life without abundance.
Our abundance and prosperity are nothing without God's abundant life given us..
When Solomon strayed away from God, he still had a life of riches, but all was vanity upon vanity.
Your life is not complete without Christ's abundance added to it.

Jesus is the giver of life. He knows just having life is not enough, so He wants to give it more abundantly.
*Call to Word action.*
Peter further explains what abundant life is. He says in 2 Peter 1:3 *According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
John 14:27 *Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.*
*Prayer.*
Lord, l thank you for the life you have given me. Please give me life more abundantly in Jesus name.
