JESUS IN YOU

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*JESUS IN YOU*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Matthew 12:42–►🔹 *The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.*🔹

*Insight and Highlights.*

Jesus in you has made you greater than Solomon, the richest and wisest who ever lived.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Jesus' statement *"behold, a greater than Solomon is here.*, caught the critics of His time unawares and they were much thrown aback because Solomon, in his time, had written God inspired and life changing wise sayings.

Solomon loved by God, was born in the palace. Jesus, Son of God, was born in a manger.

Solomon wore kingly robes, Jesus's life was pauperish, no grand nor pomp and pageantry. Solomon drank from kingly cups, vessels of gold carved with artistry and with servers waiting upon him, Jesus waited on His subjects, He came to minister. He was a Servant-Leader. People, queens and leaders of nations waited on Solomon.

We can go on and on about the splendor of Solomon, but he is no more. His 3000 proverb, and 1500 songs still impact us. Solomon can no more impact people's lives by contact but we do learn from his writings. Jesus is alive and we still encounter Him both spiritually and physically, if we do not neglect so great a salvation as offered in Him.

Solomon built a temple for himself, Jesus is preparing a mansion, not for Himself, but for all who endure to the very end, John 14:2.

The greater one is the temple in you and l.

The temple is explained in 1 Cor 6:19 says, *"…know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you …?"*

Solomon, in his time, was great and he alone was great above those who worked and believed in him. Jesus, however, extends greater works to those who believe in Him, John 14:12.

What a mind, Jesus has!

*Remorse corner.*

What will you give up to be great?

Jesus sacrificed and lived a life of sacrifice throughout. He became poor that you may be rich, 2 Cor 8:9. Solomon gave out his abundance.

Jesus gave out of "nothing". He managed few resources to become more than sufficient, John 2:1-11, Matt 14:13-21.

*Call to Word action.*

Solomon is no more. His beautiful throne and exploits he had are no more but Jesus is here and forever more: The Everlasting King.

*The Christian clarion duty.*

None can be compared to Jesus, the greatest who ever lived and will live for evermore. He promises we can do greater works than he had done.

*Prayer*

John 1:14–►🔹 *".....we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.*🔹

Lord, let me behold your glory. Let me do greater works in Jesus name.

Good morning and be blessed as you come into His presence today.

God bless you.
