*IT IS ILLEGAL NOT TO PRAY.*

*Scriptures Treasure.*

Philippians 4:6 *Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Prayer is supplication. Supplication is a petition. Petition is a legal document.

So when you pray, you are issuing God a legal request to hear your case.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

If God calls prayer a petition, He makes it legal.

In the courts, a petition is a request to a court seeking its order for relief, redress, damage, etc. It is a plea, and it can be an appeal.

When this formal request is made, the court is under statutory and federal regulations to hear it.

In the petition, the petition prays the court to hear him/her. The court will issue a writ (a written command in the name of a court or other legal authority to act) or summon or subpoena (a written order to compel an individual to appear before a court) as the case may be.

None can be ignored.

All of these are requests for the presence of the sued to appear or others needed for evidence, and the case is ready for hearing.

So, by your petition, you are praying God to hear your case, and God is under obligation to arrange a 'hearing'.

Though your petition is a legal right, not all petitions are granted justice.

Some are mere allegations, and some do not have legal standing or substance, so they are dismissed for want of evidence.

Some have solid bases and are equitable grounds for justice. Such are granted most times with damages and huge compensation.

God's law is pure and just.

Paul says in Rom 7:12 *Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.*

As it is with a legally constituted justice system to process your petition, so does God process our prayers as petitions.

There is a maxim in law that says, 'He who comes to equity must come with clean hands'. This means anyone who wants justice must come with justifiable and good reasons. You can not be evil yet expect equitable justice (ref Psalm 24:3-6)

So, in God's Kingdom, He has made prayer a petition. By this, He made prayer legal, and you are acting legally when you pray.

So, though you are legally abiding when you pray, make sure you are legally righteous to do so for your petition to be answered.

When you are legally righteous with your petition, He answers you but when you are not legally righteous though with the legal right to file a legal petition, your case will be dismissed for lack of good standing (righteousness).

It is legal to pray, and it is more legal to be righteous.

*Remorse corner.*

Prayer is a command from God, so you are obedient when you pray. You are disobedient when you do not pray..

*Call to Word action.*

You are questionable if you do not pray.

Matt 26:40 *And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

If God calls prayer a petition, He makes it a Kingdom legality. So it is illegal if you are not exercising your Kingdom privilege to pray. More illegal is if you petition in unrighteousness!

*Prayer.*

Lord, please let me bring my petition to you with *.... clean hands, and a pure heart...*, in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.

God bless you
