*IT IS GOOD THAT GOD HEARS YOU (4)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

John 11:41. *Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

We must despise shame for us to achieve the fame of Jesus (ref Mark 1:28-38).

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Jesus in the flesh might have taught us to despise the shame that may want to come to us when we, for example, think He may not answer.

Heb 12:2 says we should look unto Jesus as a role model, as *....the author and finisher of our faith.*

The writer teaches that Jesus foresaw joy ahead and beyond what he was about to suffer, so he despised his present shame (the cross), refusing it to alter what He was to receive. The honor He was to receive was to be at *".....the right hand of the throne of God.*

The fear of shame of possible unanswered prayers robs us of approaching God with confidence that He could do all things.

Jesus may be telling us to thank God come what may.

Many of us are more afraid of unanswered prayers than we are confident of answered prayers.

Often, we are sure we will not be answered than we are sure we would be answered.

At times, those who do not or who refuse to thank Him before He does what they are asking Him to do often forget to thank Him after.

Thanking God ahead for what He has not done is a strong indicator that we are serving Him for who He is, not just for what He could do.

When you thank Him ahead of receiving from Him, you are saying whether or not He answers you, He deserves all praise, regardless.

Believe God can answer you as fast as your heart desires of Him.

*Remorse corner.*

Trust to go to God believing He will hear you

*Call to Word action.*

John says if you believe God will hear you, then believe that what you have asked of Him has been answered.

John 5:15 *And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Do you believe God answers prayers?

If you believe so, then thank Him ahead of your petitions.

*Prayers.*

Lord, l will thank you always regardless of circumstances in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
