*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*....IF I BE A MAN OF GOD...(2)*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Numbers 16: 28-33 *And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.*
*If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me.*
*But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord.*
*And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:*
*And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.*
*They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Even when the vessel of God is silent about pronouncing "lf he be a man of God," the power of God is implied, and God will move as lf the man of God said so.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
The power of God evident in a man of God can prove that he has power with God, whether he said something or not.
His silence or few words can be as dangerous as the words he speaks
The man of God may be silent of words or few in words. Whichever way he chooses, he is not without the demonstration of the Spirit's power, 1 Cor 4:20.
Moses did not use the phrase but said if God would do what was not common judgment to Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, it would prove he was a man of God. The demonstration of the Spirit's power was immediately manifested.
The same word said by Elijah on mount Carmel saying *Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.*
*Then the fire of the Lord fell...."* consuming the altar of Baal, 1 Kgs 17:30-40.
There are people who walk with God, Gen 5:I4. They are as close to seeing God whom no one has ever seen yet have 'seen' God, Exd 33:19-20, Numb 12:8.
It is unfortunate that many do not know how the words of these men and women could ignite and be an accelerant of the Holy Fire.
It is unbelievable to the human mind that even when they are wrong or appear to be wrong before people, they are right before God, Numb 12:1-8.
Many problems most people are having today find its root in their defiance of God's most adorable choice-vessels.
God did not look for any life-threatening and destroying disease other than leprosy as a punishment for Mariam, Numb 12:10. Aaron's judgment was to come.
A man of God can pronounce immediate death, 2 Kgs 1:10.
He can bring the dead back life, 1 Kgs 17:21-23.
He can pronounce immediate infirmity (Acts 13:11), spiritual fortification (Elisha and the King of Israel, 2 Kgs 15:15-17).
In the early church, there were vessels who performed great miracles of healing with signs and wonders. They are all in the same breath as those who performed great miracles of getting the preaching done.
They are not differentiated by the miracles they performed.
In God's eyes, whether a man of God performs great miracles or great miracles getting the preaching done, none is greater or lesser than the other.
It is all the work of the Spirit, and the demonstration of the Spirit's power always accompanies His vessels.
Fear the silence of a man of God just as you fear his pronouncements.
When you fear God, you will fear the vessel of God.

If he is truly serving God, he is the most dangerous person to offend.

1 Cor 4:20 *For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
In the fear of God, fear them whether they talk more, less, or say nothing. As long as there is a power of God in them, God honors them in every way.
*Prayer.*
God help me to honor God in the life of His vessel, in Jesus name.
