HOPE IS NOT LOST
*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*HOPE IS NOT LOST!*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Romans 4:20-21---►🔹 *He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;*
🔹 *And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.*🔹
*Insight and Highlight.*
Believe and hope, even when there is no reason for hoping.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Abraham survived what looked like a never ending stretch of bareness in the life of his wife, Sarah.
Hannah was in sorrows and bitterness of soul. She did not allow unbelief to take hold of her. She did not waver and faith made her strong.
She prayed out of agony in desperation for a child. We all go through tough times often arising from reasons that are no fault of ours.
Bitterness of soul, like that of Hannah should drive a committed believer to trust in God.
We must never allow agony to bar us from praying to God.
Jesus was a good example, Luke 22:44 ---'►🔹 *And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.*🔹
It is only in the place of communion with God that we can be assured hope is not lost.
Remember, Psalm 34:6 --'►🔹 *This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.*
*Remorse corner.*
When there is no reason for hope, keep on hoping—believing that you would become what God wants you to become.
*Call to Word action.*
The greatest threat to losing hope is a weakened faith
Rom 4:19--'►🔹 *And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:*🔹
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Hope is not lost when hope is found on faith that continues to hope regardless.
*Prayer*
Lord strengthen my faith, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day.
God bless you.
