*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*HELLO, ARE YOU THERE?.*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Revelation 3:20 *Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Jesus is passing your way today. When He knocks, make sure you open to Him.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
The Spirit of God will not strive with man, Gen 6:3. His Spirit will remain with us for as long as we allow Him.
We have seen in the scriptures that the Spirit dwells in the believer but could also depart when we grieve Him.
The Spirit will be with us for as long as we live, but we are separated from our spirit at death because it goes back to God, Eccl 12:7.
God wants you, and He needs your heart. Though He knows your frame yet He is patient by standing at your door, He is seeking your permission to open as He knocks, He is waiting for your cooperation by opening the door for Him to come in and He is looking for you co-participation when you answer in order to sup with Him.
He is waiting to hear your voice.
He will sup with you whatever state your home may be or whatever status you are, rich or poor, sick or healthy.
Another very interesting point to note is that people often refuse to hear His knock.
So Jesus wants you to be attentive to His knock and do the needful to open for Him to come in.
Jesus will not knock on a door He knows nobody is there.
Your heart is the door He is knocking at. He knows you are there.
Instead of asking 'Hello are you there?' He is instead saying 'Hello, l know you are there!
What are you doing today?
If you have already opened the door of your heart to Him, do not throw Him out.
If you have not opened your heart to Him, answer Jesus and accept Him today. Tomorrow is too late!
*Remorse corner.*
Do not pretend you do not hear His knock.
*Call to Word action.*
Do not be too busy to rob yourself of hearing His knock.
*The Christian clarion duty.*
When you hear His knock, open the door immediately.
*Prayer.*
Lord, help me to open my heart to You, in Jesus name.
Good morning, all, and be blessed as you come into His presence today.
God bless you.
