HELL (2)
*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*HELL (2)*
*Scripture Treasure.*
1 John 3:23 *And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another just as He commanded us.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
You can determine where you will end eternally.
*Scripture Treasure.*
No matter how long we spend here on earth, it is very small and a minute number of years compared to what will be spent in eternity.
Do not be deceived. Heaven and hell are real, just as death is real.
No one is judging anyone. Do not misunderstand when a preacher or a soul winner is evangelizing to you the possibility of hell for those who fail to accept Christ. Jesus said in John 3:18
*He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already,.....*
When one is condemned, hell is the only available eternal destination.
No one made this the final judgment. God, through Jesus, said and made it so!
Avoid teachings that tell you that no one can determine where he/she will end.
Your choice today can determine where you will end, Heaven or hell.
The truth is that *Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.* 1 John 5:4.
You do not need anyone to judge you. You can judge and examine yourself, 1 Cor 11:28, 31, 2 Cor 13:5.
The good about knowing Jesus is the assurance of salvation He gives you, 1 Joh 3:2.
You should know if you belong to and have an inner witness that when He comes, you will look like Him, 1 John 3:2-3
Do not spend your time on things that will perish or will not last. Do not neglect time with God because this is what will count towards eternal rewards for you.
Earthly achievement with the fear of God is good, but if it is without God, it profits nothing, Mark 8:36-38.
You can determine where you will spend eternity today. It is just a question of who you choose.
Let it be Jesus.
No one or nothing besides Jesus!
Do not be deceived!
*Remorse corner.*
You might want to ask again, "How does Jesus describe hell?"
In Mark 9:43, Jesus spoke of hell as a place where the *...fire never goes out,"* implying unending torment.
*Call to Word action.*
John 5:24 *Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Jesus says in Matt 25;41 that hell is a place *"....prepared for the devil and his angels,"* That is, a place of punishment for the unrepentant, forces and agents of evil etc, but you do not have to be one of them.
You can change your eternal destination to Heaven today by accepting Christ.
*Prayer.*
Lord, let me not refuse Your free gift of salvation. Please let me not end up in hell fire, in Jesus name.
Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
