HAS GOD HAD AN ENCOUNTER WITH YOU?

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*HAS GOD HAD AN ENCOUNTER WITH YOU?*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Isaiah 6:1, 3 *In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.*

*And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

An encounter with God is God's ultimate way to verify anyone before Himself and for anyone to verify him/herself before God.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Those who know God and have had an encounter with Him will tell you that the more they know Him, the more they fear Him.

The prophet Isaiah referred to God as the Holy One of Israel. It is estimated his endearment, reverent expression for God as "the Holy One of Israel" appears more times in the book of Isaiah with few additional times of referring to Him as "the Holy One."

Isaiah's reference to God as the Holy One of Israel stemmed from his powerful firsthand encounter with God and His holiness of God in Isaiah 6:3.

Your relationship with God is not an intellectual understanding but in the reality of His Divine presence being made to you.

It is through this that you can endure any trial and resist any temptation to mistreat or disdain God.

A revelation of who God is by way of an encounter, will show you how none, little or more you really know and understand about the Almighty God.

Many claim to know Him but by what they do, the Spirit-filled will know they are far from knowing the true God.

After Isaiah's encounter, he knew who he really was. He said in Isaiah 6:5: *Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.*

We often behave irresponsibly before God whom we claim to know because we do not know Him or we refuse by open rebellion to disobey Him.

We do this because we have not seen His anger over the disobedient.

An encounter with God made Isaiah to instantly realize his own sinfulness and uncleanness. Immediately God cleansed his mouth and heart and made him remain in His presence as His servant to nations

If you are a child of God, ask Him for an encounter today in order to reveal who you really are before Him.

Isaiah had an encounter with God, it changed him!

Has God had an encounter with you?

Do you want to know who you are before God?

Ask Him for an encounter today!

*Remorse corner.*

There is no one God will use in His Kingdom that He will not have a transformative encounter with.

*Call to Word action*

An encounter with God will help you endure any trial to the glory of God's Kingdom.

Dan 11:32 *......the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits."*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Isaiah had a vision received from God, Isaiah 1:1. He had prophesied earlier yet God revealed His holiness that he may know God in His holiness.

Your true heart of devotion begins from an encounter with God. The encounter that will instill God's fear in you.

He will tell and show you lines you must never cross, ref Gen 17:1.

*Prayer.*

Lord, reveal to me who l am that l may receive cleansing. Here l am, send me, O Lord, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
