You are to grow up, not jump up.

In those days as litte children, when heights are measured, some flippantly jump up, some tip toed, some stand on objects in order to measure up.
The same attitudes often happens in the spiritual where many people, instead of growing up they "jump up or tip toe".
These are people who wished they could grow up but are not growing up.
They wished they could be tall and strong in faith but are not. They wished good things spiritually but they do not work or pray towards. They resort to strength or other methods which cannot work.
They are wishful thinkers whose wishes are unattainable.
Paul warns us saying there are people who
think they know something but they do not yet know as they ought to know.
Knowledge is from God, so also wisdom, understanding, Psalm 139:6, James 1:5.
In raising intellectuals and sound people who will become transformative in our societies, dignity, integrity, reputations are earned through knowledge attained from education.
If you wish to know what you do not yet know, if you wish to grow, the following could help:
Develop a willing mind to love God, 2 Cor 8:12, study God's word and be deeply rooted, 2 Tim 2:15, Col 2:7
Cooperate with God concerning what you want to be, 1 Cor 3:9.
Avoid distraction, 2 Tim 2:4. Avoid company of bad people, Psalm 1, 1 Cor 15:33. Do not compare yourself with another, 2 Cor 10:12
The list is inexhaustive.
Do you wish to grow?
Do not strive unlawfully. It is not by power but by trust and diligence service in the Lord, it will be attainable.
