GOD'S SALVAGE KINGDOM (3).
*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*GOD'S SALVAGE KINGDOM (3).*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Acts 26:28 *Then Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?”*
*Insight and Highlight.*
As there are the 'almost persuaded' as Agrippa, so also are the almost persuaded Christian to reach out to souls.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Today, we will look further at another lesson we can learn from Paul's encounter with Agrippa.
This is that, while it is noted that there are people like Agrippa who are almost persuaded, we should be more troubled about the numbers of Christians who are 'almost persuaded' to reach out to souls but did not!
Some of us are reluctant even when God presents us with an opportunity to win these souls.
Many of us, instead of taking up the opportunity, we let it pass as if nothing happened.
We may even consider our failure to win these souls as victory for still staying on our jobs or still remaining as friends to these people.
We would rather prefer to secure our cozy, cordial, position, relationship, and connections than lose them.
Do not make your failure look like victory.
Paul remained committed to the gospel. For him to live is by the grace of Christ, so if he were to die for the course of winning souls for Him, it is gain!
Do you express your thoughts this way?
*Remorse corner.
Those who are eligible for Heaven have been saved, and they belong to God's salvaged Kingdom. They are ultimate prevailers!
*Call to Word action.*
Agrippa thought he was wise to refuse salvation. What happened to him after his life is now history and irreversible!
Let us heed to the exhortation in: 1 Cor 3:18-19: *Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Those who eagerly wait for Him to appear a second time will separate themselves from sin, unto salvation.
*Prayer.*
Lord, let me separate from sin unto salvation, in Jesus name.
Good morning all, and be blessed as you come into His presence today.
God bless you.
