GOD'S PRESENCE IS HOPE RESTORED
*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*GOD'S PRESENCE IS HOPE RESTORED.*
Isaiah 6:1--► *In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
God is greater than any earthly king.
Undoubtedly, Uzziah was one of the good kings of Judah.
His reign marked great military exploits in Judah but he could not handle his success and power.
The prophet Isaiah took special interest in king Uzziah that he documented his begining to end, 2 Chro 26: 22.
The prophet Isaiah had great reason to be discouraged and disillusioned at the death of King Uzziah, because a great king had passed away, and because his life ended tragically. Yet despite it all, he saw the enthroned LORD God who was greater than any earthly king.
God's presence on the throne was to assure him that though a king he loved dearly had ended up a disappointment and now gone, there is a King of kings who is enthroned forever. He cannot make mistakes. He is reliable and is above all principalities and power.
Isaiah's love may have taken his eyes away from the LORD but more likely also it is that God's presence on the throne is an assurance that Uzziah’s passing is to rekindle his hope and continue his service in the Lord.
God’s presence on the throne brought hope to the future of Isaiah and Judah
God’s presence is hope restored.
His presence takes away our past disappointments.
Can you see God, enthroned and greater than all your disappointments?

*The Christian clarion duty.*
King Uzziah' reign was temporal. The LORD'S reign will be for ever. To wipe away Prophet Isaiah's pain for as long as he lived.
Lord, please do more than what no one l have ever trusted can do in my life, in Jesus name.

God bless you.
