*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*GOD'S PRESENCE.*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Psalm 46:1 *God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
God gives us the inalienable rights to His presence in our difficult times.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
The psalmist tells us that having God's presence in our time of trouble is a Kingdom right not a privilege.
This not just because of God's sovereignty but because His presence abides.
Few things teach us this.
First is that God is not human who is afraid of anything and can only be at one place at a time. He is ever present in any situation or place. He can not be absent anywhere. Nothing takes Him unawares. He is omnipresent and omniscient.
Matt 28:19 tells us that He will be with us *"....always...."* Matt 28:20.
Second is that He is touched with the feeling of our infirmities (Heb 4:15) therefore He can not be absent in our times of trouble.
He is not a God who is only present when things are good but also when they are bad.
Third, He is ever mindful of us and He visits us.
The psalmist says *What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?* Ps 8:4.
Fourth is that the psalmist emphasizes God as a secure and safe place to find protection in difficult times.
Prov 18:10 *The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.*
The child of God must walk to preserve the Kingdom right that brings God's presence into every aspect of their lives.
*Remorse corner.*
God's presence in our time of trouble is a promise.
*Call to Word action.*
God does not fail in His promise.
*The Christian clarion duty.*
No child of God should be alone in the time of his troubles.
*Prayer.*
Lord, let me not alone in the time of my trouble. Let me not lose the Kingdom right to Your presence in my time of trouble in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day.
God bless you.
Shalom.
