*WISDOM FOR TODAY* *GOD'S POWER IN OUR WEAKNESS.* *Scripture Treasure.* 1 Cor 11:30-33--► *If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.* *The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is to be praised forever, knows that I am not lying.* *In Damascus the governor under King Aretas had the city of the Damascenes guarded in order to arrest me.* *But I was lowered in a basket from a window in the wall and slipped through his hands.* *Insight and Highlight.* No one is too small to help you neither are you too big that you will not need the help of someone in life. *Scripture Commentaries.* You cannot be too big in life that you will not need the help or input of someone in life. No one is an island. The world's most powerful nation cannot exist on its own. It must trade on import and export etc. Most people in life would say they never got a push to their present level of success. Everything was achieved by them, no other person had a hand or ever contributed to their successes. This is not always true. Your business may be as a result of your idea but you have a labor force of workers hired to provide services under you. Paul reminds us in 1 Cor 11:30 saying *"If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.* In other words, besides the Holy Spirit who works in him *"....both to will and to do of his good pleasure."*, (ref Phlp 2:13), God raised people to strengthen him in his weakest time. Many people will be silent on this, they may even offer explanation to circumvent their ugly and weakest pasts, but not Paul. Paul boasted he had his weakest times and that God helped him through people who supplied strength to him. It is not weakness to boast of someone who had made an impact in your life. It is honorable before God, to do so. Remember, God's power is made manifest in human weakness. *Remorse corner.* If you are not thankful for the less you cannot be thankful for the next. *Call to Word action.* If you are not thankful for the less you cannot be qualified for the next. *The Christian clarion duty.* Paul's disciples rescued Paul from the Jews. Acts 9:25 --► *Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.* Though they rescued, they were not sure he was one of them. Barnabas took him up. *Prayer.* Lord, help me. Let me not undermine people as l make my way to the top. Help me to change lives for the better, in Jesus name. Good morning all and be blessed as you come into His presence. God bless you.
