Jer 31:1 ► *At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.*

The Kingdom of God is built on the relationship with God.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
God has a family, but not every one He creates belongs to the family.
When God brings you into His family, you will be more powerful than any secular family.
When informed that His brothers are standing outside wanting to speak to Him, Christ replied, asking *,"....Who is my mother, and who are my brothers..."* He pointed to His disciples, saying , *"Here are my mother and my brothers.* (Matt 12:49)
The Kingdom family is as Christ said in Matt 12:49.
In this family, we are called to familiarize with God, Numb 12:5.
However, in familiarizing with God, we must know that God has set boundaries.
Set boundaries are clear guidelines on how God would like to be treated, respected, and honored (ref Deut 28).
Moses crossed the set boundaries.
God said that Moses would not get to the promised land. God said to Moses *,".....ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel,...."* Numb 20:12.
David also crossed the set boundaries.
God said David had *".....despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in his sight?...."*, 2 Sam 12:9.
Recognizing and respecting God's set boundaries are key to a lasting relationship with God.
The more we know Him, the more we should fear Him. This is key to a cordial and lasting relationship with God.
Do not just walk with God but tread softly and respectfully.

God's relationship is based on loving what He loves and hating what He hates.
*Call to Word action.*
Hebrews 1:9 *Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Do not assume, presume, or prempt God. Seek to know His mind, purpose, and set boundaries. God loves those who diligently seek Him, Heb 11:6.
*Prayer.*
Lord, help me to know what is and what is not acceptable to You. Help me to please You all the days of my life in Jesus name.
