Insight and Highlight
The first step to conquer your fears in affliction or challenges is to know God has
called you by His grace and has revealed Himself in you. Gal 1:15-16 ►
"...called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me,....."
Scripture Commentaries
Many of us see our sufferings and pains as indications that God had forgotten us. Those He chooses to see trials or temptation as trials of faith not a punishment from God and they know they will come out as gold, Job 23:10. What we go through is a sign of our sonship, Rom 8:17.
God does not want people who will fall away in affliction but people who will vindicate His redemptive plans. Such trials and challenges by such people are endured for "Christ's sake". Jesus told Ananias that He had shown Saul "....what He must suffer for my sake...", Acts 9:16
He will not allow you to die in the trial. In temptation, He will make a way of escape, 1 Cor 10:13.
If you fall away in affliction, you have only failed yourself and a disappointment to God. If you fail in the day of adversity your strength is small, Prov 24:10.
If you ask "why me", who else should God look up to other than the one whom He has prepared to vindicate His redemptive plans?
Can God trust you in your afflictions?
Remorse corner
We may not see the trial coming but God does see it.
