GOD CAN AND WILL HELP YOU

*WISDOM FOR TODAY*

*GOD CAN AND WILL HELP YOU.*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Gen 49:25 *Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:*

*Insight and Highlight.*

The only people God can not help are those who do not think they need His help.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

God is merciful. John 5:1-8 records how He healed the impotent man, though the man did not respond to whether he wanted to be healed or not.

This story tells us about the sovereignty of God to do as He pleases in spite of whatever we do or not.

However, the aspect of God that will involve our participation in what He does for us will require that we do our part before He does His part.

In other words, as much as He is willing to heal and deliver, He can withhold His deliverance if we continue in sin or willingly sin against Him, Deut 28:1-15, 60.

In 2 Chron 7:14, God clearly called for our participation before He would be willing to heal. Therefore, if the people who are called by His name do not humble themselves and pray, He will not heal the land.

The people's refusal to pray will only indicate that they do not think God can help them.

So, when you refuse to pray when God requires or demands that you pray, you are telling God you do not think or accept He can help you.

Situations and challenges may be overwhelming and may discourage you from praying, but never neglect to pray.

Anytime you do not feel like praying, is the time you must pray.

God can help you. He is ever ready to help!

Call on Him today!

*Remorse corner.*

Do not be afraid of challenges. Any challenge that drives you to God is a blessing, Ps 119:71.

*Call to Word action.*

Psalm 120:1 ► *A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

We must be careful of prosperity that drives us away from God. Any purported blessing that drives you away from God is a curse.

Jer 22:21 says, *"l spoke to you in your prosperity; but you said: I will not listen.*

*Prayer.*

Ps 28:7 *The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.*

Lord, help me when l call, in Jesus name.

Good morning, all, and be blessed as you come into His presence.

God bless you.
