GOD (10)

*GOD (10)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Eccl 3:14: *I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Proverbs 21:30 *There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.*

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Christ is the *Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending,.... the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.*, Rev 1:8

Christ is *...He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen, and have the keys of hell and of death.*, Rev 1:8.

To save mankind from sin, Paul said.

*.....God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.*, 2 Cor 5:19.

We have been looking at God, the Supreme being.

David said God's *".....knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I can not attain unto it."* Psalm 139:6.

We can not exhaust God.

We can only testify to what He has done, what we have seen and read but His ways are only known to Him, except by His revelation to us, Deut 29:29, Ps 103:7, Amos 3:7.

His ways are past finding out, Rom 11:33

His attribute to do as He pleases spells out His uniqueness as God having no equal.

He was not created yet, He created. He has been before all creation, Gen 1:1, Ps 90:2.

*All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men....*, John 1:14

He is independent from all His creations and dwells in perfect existence independent of all that He creates. He is everything without us, and we are nothing without Him.

As for man, his days are numbered, Ps 90:12, as for God, He is everlasting.

He can kill and make alive, Deut 32:39.

He has been before we were, and He will be when we are no more so also

His *".....words shall not pass away.*, Matt 25:35.

As for man, there is no wisdom, and there is no way anyone could take, that would overcome the majesty of God.

No laws, no advancement, no update, and no passage of time could outdate God.

His counsel does not expire. It is old yet new. It is old yet as good as new.

No thought of man from the past or present or future, and no thoughts of any great thinker or writer is good enough to stand against it.

Psalm 33:11 says, *"The counsel of the LORD standeth forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations."*

The Bible has survived generational assault and abuse, yet there is hardly anyone who would say he/she has never heard of it.

His word, the Bible, is generally acceptable as the word of God, though some do not believe it.

It is still regarded as the most distinguished trusted book of righteousness, the most widely read, the most reverent, and is regarded as the most selling book.

People have written books, and people have written on their religious beliefs, but the counsels and morals they tend to proffer find their root in the word of God: the Bible.

Proverbs 19:21 says, *"There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless, the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.*

God is indestructible. The Bible is the word of God, which has also been proven to survive destructions while children of men are destroyed in the same location. Even in great fires, it has remained incombustible.

It is the truth of God. It does not lie, Heb 6:18, Rom 3:4.

It is not written through the devises and thoughts in the hearts of man but

*......the prophecy came not in old time but by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost,* 2 Pet 1:21.

It expresses the mind of God so that *'.......all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.*, Ps 64:9.

It speaks of His love, forgiveness of our sins, reconciliation, and judgment on those who refuse to repent.

Those who do good and those who do evil are rewarded, Isaiah 59:18,19

*According to their deeds, accordingly, he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.*

Discover the Bible: the infallible word of God today.

It is the word of God written to instruct all people how to please God, have a happy and successful life, and avoid the tragedies resulting from sin.

We all have a responsibility to God.

Prov 1:7 says *The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction:*

To all who do not believe in the existence of God or do not believe Christ as His son, experience God today through His Holy word: the Bible, and you will never remain the same.

The Holy Spirit will teach you as you read, study, and meditate.

God is ready to give you a new beginning, Just believe and accept Christ as your Lord and personal Savior. This is all you need to do.

Do it now!

A transformation awaits you!

God bless you as you do this.

*'.......Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.*, Rev 7:10.

*Remorse corner.*

Believe God is true and believe that everything God says is right and true. This is the only sure standard by which to live.

*Call to Word action.*

Revelation 15:4 *Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

John 15:5 *I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.*

Lord, let all knees bow at the name of Jesus, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
