Esther 8:2-3 *And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.*

*And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised against the Jews.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Never believe your own guesses and interpretations. Believe in God that your tears can turn into cheers.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

In times of trouble, so many thoughts, interpretation and guesses run through our minds.

When the news of Haman plot reached Mordecai and many of the Jews,

*"...Mordecai rent his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry;"*

*"....there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes,* Esther 4:1,3.

By Mordecai and all the Jews' interpretations, destruction was looming, if they failed to act.

They however did not believe in their guesses or interpretations of what would be or might be. Esther immediately, using her position, swung into action.

By God's providence and intervention his and other's tears turned into cheers!

Esther 9:1 (MSG) *"....This was the very day that the enemies of the Jews had planned to overpower them, but the tables were now turned: the Jews overpowered those who hated them!"*

The very day Haman had hoped to hatch his sinister plot against the Jews was the very day the Jews conquered and overpowered them.

The Jews got victory over their enemies, in the month and day sorrow was meant for them but instead their sorrow turned to joy. Their mourning turned to parties, fun and laughter, Esther 9:22.

Believe God to turn your tears to cheers today.

*Remorse corner.*

Your tears will turn to cheers. From your tears will come your cheers. When joy comes and in the time of joy, more tears called joyful tears will come in terms of joy (ref ref Ps 30:5).

*Call to Word action.*

Esther 8:16  *The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

1 Sam 2:1 ► *And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.*

*Prayer.*

Lord, let my heart rejoice. Let my mouth be enlarged over my enemies. Let my tears turn into cheers in Jesus name.
