FROM BROKENESS TO WHOLENESS

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*FROM BROKENESS TO WHOLENESS.*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Isaiah 61:1 *The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;*

*Insight and Highlight*

Psalm 147:3 *He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.*

*Scripture Commentaries.*

God does heal the brokenhearted.

Psalm 34:18 says *The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.*

The brokenhearted often feel estranged from people. They tend to feel nobody loves or cares about them.

Obvious signs of brokenheartedness is depression and a tendency to isolate from other people.

While it is expected that those heartbroken should reach out for counsel, it is more caring if people reach out to those they know are under this condition.

Love plays a key role here.

There are people who made mistakes early or later in life and are often stigmatized by the society.

What these people go through are classic examples of neglect

They may be deservedly chastised for having failed but we must never lose our love for them. We must never put them away. At times, what they need is love.

We can never love in excess because love deserves all the best we can give or offer.

The elders have a saying which goes "you use the right hand to chastise an erring child, afterwards you also use the left to draw him/her closer".

When you show love to the brokenhearted or one who failed early or later in life, it is not because you are encouraging brokenness or sin, it is because you are encouraging restoration and reconciliation.

Reaching out makes them feel they are still wanted after all. It enhances their continued fellowship.

Are you heartbroken due to broken relationship or life's uncertainties, or you feel stigmatized over what had happened to you in the past?

The good news for you is, Christ made provisions for you, He heals and binds wounds.

*Remorse corner.*

Loose yourself from the shame of the past.

*Call to Word action.*

John 8:36 *If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.*

Be loosed and free. Christ has made you free. It is important you set yourself free to walk into what God has for you

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Believe your brokenness can be turned into wholeness.

Make up your mind and take back your glory and throne. Be enthroned.

*Prayer.*

Lord turn any heartbrokeness to wholeness in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
