*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*FOOLS FOR CHRIST (2).*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Philippians 3:14 (NLT) *l press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.*

*Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

The true disciple has nothing to lose but much to gain even when he is reviled.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

The Apostle Paul says in 1 Cor 12:10 (NIV) *That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.*

When it comes to winning or gaining a soul, a believer has nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Ego, reputation are thrown to the back stage, Christ is gain Matt 5:11-12, 1 Cor 4:10.

As disciples, we must never quickly move on when a soul is aching, hurting or on the verge of spiritual decline.

We must constantly ask ourselves why we should throw away our remorse and

compassion all because we choose to be unconcerned or care less about the soul.

The Apostle Paul says *"My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,*, Gal 4:19.

We must desire to be with them. Gal 4:20, Paul says *"I desire to be present with you now,....."*

*Remorse corner.*

The Apostle admonished concerning those who had imputed sin on us though without sin. Paul says we were like them before Christ saved us

1 Pet 2:25 *For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.*

*Call to Word action.*

1 Pet 2:22-23  *Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:*

*Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Make sure, however, you are without sin.

We are fools for Christ's sake... *"submitting to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake....as unto them that are sent by him.....for so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men* *[put to silence the ignorance of people who do not know God]:*

*Prayer.*

Lord help me to follow Your will. Let my good attitude with well doing, overcome, silence, the ignorance of naive people who do not know God, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
