1 Cor 4:10 *We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.*

1 Cor 1:25. *Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.*
*Scripture Commentaries.*
The true disciple of Christ must be aware of the Apostle Paul's admonition. Paul says God has placed the true disciple in the worst possible place.
....and what is this worst possible place? We are like prisoners on their way to death. Angels and the people of this world just laugh at us.
We have become a spectacle to watch and people make ridicule of us because of our convictions and our unrelenting efforts to win souls.
Many of us are laughing stocks, our calls and visits to souls are deliberately ignored, our prayers appear to go unanswered, we face many untold challenges etc. It all seemed to us to give up but we must not!
Always remember Paul's admonitions in 1 Cor 9:22 *To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.*
How low have you gone so that a soul might be won?

How often has God chastised you over a soul? Receive it with gladness. it is better than His judgment, Heb 12:6-7.
*Call to Word action.*
God did not chastise Moses, He punished him over His souls.
Deut 4:21 *The LORD was angry with me because of you, and he solemnly swore that I would not cross the Jordan and enter the good land the LORD your God is giving you as your inheritance.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
When we are wrong, we must own up to it. As fools for Christ, remember also, when we are right, we suffer for being right.
1 Peter 2:20 ► *For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.*

Lord help me. Let me not fail as a custodian of Your souls in Jesus name.
